Beeswax Packaging
Beeswax Packaging
Providing Environmentally-Friendly Freshness

Plastic Packaging
Plastic packaging is extremely wasteful and impacts the earth's ecosystems in many harmful ways. Grocery stores continue to sell fresh produce packaged in plastic bags, only furthering our already growing climate issue.

Our Solution
Introducing Beeswax Packaging. Beeswax Packaging has a wide range of benefits. Beeswax Packaging is biodegradable, easy to clean, reusable, and has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties to keep food clean. Using this instead of plastic ones is one of the key ways to save our planet.

What is Beeswax Packaging?
Beeswax packaging is made by coating a thin piece of cotton fabric with food-grade beeswax. The Beeswax Packaging also has rosin (a form of plant resin), and coconut / jojoba oils. This results in flexible, yet tacky packaging. To reuse a beeswax wrap, one has to wash it with cold water (using dish soap is optional) and hang it up to dry. Our Beeswax Packaging doesn't need to be washed after every use. If after many uses, the beeswax wrap becomes less effective, one can also add additional food-grade beeswax shavings, put parchment paper on top, and iron the extra beeswax onto the wrap.
